மழை

கடந்த இரண்டு நாட்களாக பரங்கிப்பேட்டையில் மிகக் கடுமையான காற்று வீசிக் கொண்டிருக்கி்ன்றது. மின் வசதி பல மணி நேரம் துண்டிக்கப்பட்டு மக்கள் சங்கடத்துக்குள்ளாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்கள். அவ்வப்போது மழையும் பெய்துவருகின்றது.

    Dua when hearing thunder

    Subhanal ladhi yusabbihur-ra’du bihamdihi wal malâ’ikatu min khifatih.

    Glory be to Him whom thunder glorifies with praises and so do the angels with His awe.(Muwatta Imam Malik)

    Dua when there is excessive rainfall

    Allahumma hawaalaina wa la a()laina allahumma a()lal akaami wal ajaami waz-zarabi wal audiyati wa manaabitash-shajari.

    () refers to ain and not alif

    O Allah! Let there be downpour in our suburbs but not on us. Let the rain fall on hillocks in the thickets on the mountains, rivers and on the hotbeds of plantations.
